Frequently asked questions
Why can’t dogs have the human ice creams?
Human ice creams are made for people, not pets — they often contain sugar, cream, artificial flavours, and other additives that aren’t ideal for dogs. Every dog is different and may react differently to ingredients, even natural ones. That’s why we’ve created a range of dog‑friendly flavours to suit different preferences and dietary needs, including vegan (Berry Delight), meat‑based (Golden Sunshine), and dairy‑based (Coconut Lagoon).
Why are Pupslurp ice creams good for my dog?
Our dog ice creams are made with wholesome, dog‑friendly ingredients chosen for their natural benefits. Fruits like blueberries, strawberries, and apples provide antioxidants that support overall wellness. Carrots, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes add gentle fiber, vitamins, and slow‑release energy that help keep digestion regular. Unsalted beef broth contributes hydration and a savoury flavour dogs love. The combination of bananas, goat milk, and coconut milk creates a creamy, gut‑friendly base.
While all our ingredients are safe for dogs, these ice creams are still treats and should be enjoyed in moderation.
Since these ice creams are all natural, can I use them as food for my dog(s)?
These ice creams are made with natural, dog‑friendly ingredients, but they’re still best enjoyed as treats rather than regular meals. As a general guideline, small dogs can have up to half a cup, while medium and large dogs can enjoy up to one full cup. We recommend introducing any new treat gradually — start with a small amount and try one flavour at a time to make sure it suits your dog.
Do you use any additives or preservatives?
Our intention is to bundle a bit of health in every dog ice cream that we create so, pet parents can offer them to their dogs without any guilt. Therefore, we don’t use any kind of preservatives, sugar or artificial ingredients that can be potentially harmful for dogs and make these ice creams with clean label, natural & dog friendly ingredients only.
